OUR COACHES
ACADEMY DIRECTORCOACH DOM
Multi-award winner for Coaching Excellence and Outstanding Achievement, Coach Dom is a UEFA B licensed coach with over 18 years proven expertise in the sports industry, including professional football coaching and management. He has coached all over the world including USA, Mexico, Brazil, Spain, Ireland and Croatia.
As an ex professional player until his early 30s, Coach Dom’s wealth of knowledge and experience both on and off the pitch really define his outstanding coaching style.
His versatility and unique coaching methods enable him to motivate, train and educate players at all levels – especially the shy ones!
A firm favourite with both players and parents, Coach Dom currently coaches Toddlers, Mums’ Football, Dads’ Football, Sunday Academy and all of our grassroots FC teams – U7s to U11s.
HEAD COACHCOACH BORJA
Coach Borja is an exceptionally talented coach with over 12 years of international experience, including Spain, Germany and Austria.
His Spanish passion and love for football, as well as superb work-ethics, make Borja by far the most dedicated coach at KEY Sports, which deservedly earned him ” Humphrey & Brand – Coach of the Year Award” in 2020.
UEFA B qualified coach with Masters in Physical Education Teaching, Borja has coached players from grassroots up to youth level at various top international academies, including Real Madrid FC Football Clinics and most recently Chelsea FC, as their PAN disability coach. He also teaches children with special needs and disabilities in a local school.
Coach Borja currently coaches our grassroots FC teams – U8s to U11s.
SENIOR SPECIALIST GK COACHCOACH RACHAEL
The newest member of our team, Coach Rachael is an absolute power-house and certainly our most passionate (and qualified!) coach, with UEFA A Goalkeeping & UEFA B licences.
Her impressive professional career of over 16 years as an international player & goalkeeper in Finland and Nigeria, has seen Rachael participate in the world’s most prestigious competitions, including Beijing Olympics 2008, Women’s World Cup and UEFA Champions League.
Coach Rachael’s extensive knowledge of the game as a recently retired professional player, enables her to implement fresh ideas with latest techniques and tactics.
Already a huge hit with our players, Rachael currently coaches Sunday Academy and our grassroots FC teams with weekly specialist GK sessions – U7s to U11s.
